====================================

I made this scenery as a special request.

Dupont Airfield no longer exists. I made the scenery as close to reality as possible, using a couple of old newspaper pictures, photos and an old postcar, all gratiously supplied to me by Anthony Ne Castro who flew there a while ago.

Thank you Anthony and thanks also for testing the beta version.

=====================================

Thanks to Tom Fica for his old barrel and nice Chevy pick up and to Robert Palmer for his nice trees. Thanks to Réjean Boudreau for the beacon and to J.R. Morgan Jr. for adapting it for my use.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program "Airport for Windows" and also Matthias Brückner for the program EOD which I used to make my macros. I thank also Martin Wright for the program DXT. I also thank Lee Swordy for the program Afcad.

I hope I did not forget anyone. If so, I am deeply sorry and please send me a note.

KNOW ISSUES: (those lines are to keep the bug chasers and nit pickers happy)

I made this scenery so that it is best used in the summer.

I could not include much more then what is there now because I started encountering frame rate hickups.

There are little differences to the reality, like the tower was not like this one, but this is close enough. Also, I did not include the diagonal trusses as it is said that putting those in is a major cause of suicide in the scenery creator circle.

Purists will scream at me for not respecting the peoples' dress of the era. Sorry, this is all I have.

You may notice at times that the apron flashes. It seems to do this to nice people only. Sorry, I could not fix this, so I have included a chickening out remedy. See below under Alternate Addon Scenery.

For those who are using a Mesh, I have made flatten area. I hope this keeps all items well on the ground. If it does not work for you, I am sorry, there is nothing else that can be done.

Nit pickers and bug chasers are NOT welcomed to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back. Just send me a copy of your invoice.

If I find a way to improve an item or a texture, even if this item or texture is used in a previous release, I reserve the right to change it anytime.

I N S T A L L A T I O N

Place the file 'AF2_KLLZ.bgl' into: (DO NOT USE IN FS2002)
xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery NOTICE THE WORD SCENERY IS REPEATED HERE.

Place the COMPLETE FOLDER 'KLLZ' with its contents where you usually install your sceneries, normally:
xxxxxxx/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery

If you wish, after, you may cut and paste the CONTENTS ONLY of the texture folder into the main texture
folder of your simulator. DO NOT REMOVE THE EMPTY FOLDER OR IT WON'T WORK.

Activate in the scenery library.

ALTERNATE ADD ON SCENERY. If you notice too much flashing of the apron and it bothers you, this alternate 'AF2_KLLZ.bgl' will remove the apron completely. BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL BEFORE in case you wish to get your apron back.

Restart Flight Simulator and enjoy
